What's going on, Albuquerque?

Hey Local Bands/Musicians! Quick survey . . .

I'm currently looking at creating some practice spaces out of a warehouse space downtown. I'm doing some research right now. If you could answer any or all of these questions for me, I'd really appreciate it.

What do you currently (or have you in the past) pay for your practice space?
Do you prefer a PA system is available for you?
Do you prefer to store your equipment at your practice space? Do you share this space with other bands?
How big is the room you currently rent/have rented in the past?
How do you prefer to rent practice space? By the hour? By the day? By the month?
Is 24hr availability attractive?
What suggestions do you have for someone building units to be available for practice space?
Any practice space horror stories or no-no's?

To me the best practice spaces have the following things.
Monthly rates. I want a place that I dont have to cart my equipment to all the time, and I dont want to plan down to the minute when I need the space.

24 hour access is a must. I need to be able to return my equipment to the space at 4am after a gig.

It need to have proper ventilation. IE AC and Heat.

Accessible bathrooms for people to share.

Decent sound isolation for each room. You dont want to be a folk band rehearsing next to the metal band if the noise bleed it too much.

Rates should be in the sub $200 range depending on size of the space.

Sizes should be flexible. Some bands need more space. 15-30 seems like a good medium size.

Let bands work out sharing spaces on their own. You dont want to be responsible for setting up a shared space when things go wrong.
