I purchased a microwave at Sears and they couldn't install it because my contractors had to do some other stuff first.  Now I need to have the microwave professionally installed over the range.  I was told it needs a special cabinet built.  Does anybody out there know somebody who could do this?  I'm guessing the person would need electrical plus carpentry knowledge.  Thanks.

If its a built in over the range micro/hood vent it should fit in the 30" space between the over head cabinets where the range goes. Normally I install a dedicated circuit for these as they need it. A crawl space in the attic really helps. You do not normally need a special "cabinet". Let me know if you have any other questions.
