What's going on, Albuquerque?

Looking for a House in the Foothills

My husband & I have been house-hunting for months. We finally decided the foothills is the place for us, and just missed out on making an offer on a great house (someone beat us to it).

If you know of anyone who might be toying with the idea of putting their 2-4 bedroom (1500-2000 sq ft) home on the market, please let me know. We have seen everything on the market now. Maybe the right one just hasn't been listed yet.

Good luck with your search! We just started our search, pretty much in the same area that you are looking for. We want to stay in the Eldorado HS school district (one sophomore and one incoming freshman) if we can. Glenwood Hills area would be just about perfect for us. We'd love if you shared a little bit about your experience.

It's been tough..... we have made offers on a few, but changed our minds after finding out various things that made them not a good deal for us. We are learning patience now! We don't have kids, so schools are not that much of an issue. We do a lot of internet searching to rule out a lot of places before wasting everyone's time going there in person. Still hoping something comes available in the south foothills!
