Hello folks, I've been a lurker here for the past few months while I've been debating a move to Albuquerque with the company I work for. Well I have decided to and I wanted to let everyone know that Lowe's is looking to bring a customer contact center there by early next year! We are hiring everything from the contact center agents all the way up to the Site Director. You can search jobs by going to lowes.com/careers and filtering the job search by choosing 'All Corporate Jobs' in Job Category, New Mexico as the State and Albuquerque as the City! Interviews will start to be conducted later this month and ongoing thru early 2012. Lowe's has been a great company to work for and I hope that many of you looking for jobs will apply and get this opportunity to work for a Fortune 50 company!! The building that we just signed a lease on is on the 6300 block on Jefferson, near Osuna. The pictures I've seen of the building are beautiful, as is Albuquerque. I can't wait to see both in person very soon!

Lowe's reported a net profit of $225MM last quarter. They are restructuring to stay profitable and become more profitable. The move here could be part of that strategy.
Good to see that there will be some decent paying jobs for those in need of them.

I just googled it and couldn't find anything either. 20 stores were closed this year, unfortunately, but Lowe's is still 1700+ stores strong.

(the entire headline states: Lowe's, Bank of America and others pull ads from Muslim reality TV show after pressure.)
TLC’s “All-American Muslim” is propaganda that riskily hides the Islamic agenda’s clear and present danger to American liberties and traditional values.
thoughts?
Unnerving that this religious group has been mistaken for a broad segment of the market. If that's true then I'm truly afraid. Seems like the group is over exaggerating their success, though.
