Vernon's Hidden Valley Steakhouse and Vernon's Jazz Club are having a 7-course dinner, entertainment from Tommy Gearhart's Little Big Band featuring trumpeter Justin Ray and dancing and DJ into the New Year.

Just saw in the Alibi that the new hotel, Parq Central (think that's the name) is having a party at $40 per person which includes a champagne toast, snacks and the band Le Chat Lunatique will be playing.  But you need to reserve a spot...  They also have a package deal if you want to stay at their hotel.  The Alibi might be your source for what is going on in general--or maybe tomorrow's Venue in the Albq. Journal.

The Hotel Andaluz is having a rather fancy shindig too. Make that 2 separate shindigs: a more traditional party in the ballroom and a DJ night in their rooftop bar.

So, I've received a bunch of responses...all good of course, this is the Duke City Fix.  We've decided on Parq Central since it is new (in a way), and we like Le Chat Lunatique...

Thanks to everyone...and I imagine that others might still be interested in suggestions..
