Found a bunch of fraudulent ATM withdrawals from banks in California on my NMEFCU card.  Still have the card in my possession.  The bank says it's impossible for somebody to use the card without my PIN.  Obviously they can.  Anybody else have this experience?

Neighbors of mine. They were in NM, withdrawals in Hungary. They figured it must have been their online use of the card.

I don't know how they would get the PIN from online credit card use?

If I use my NMEFCU card as a debit card, I need to enter a PIN. If I use it as credit, I don't.

Albuq Citizen: yes, exactly. The bank will encourage you to sign for purchases rather than to use your PIN, because they say it's more secure. I don't agree.  The bank prefers the signature because it costs the merchant and not the bank.  Anybody can forge my signature, but nobody knows my PIN.  However somebody was using my debit card (which I have in my possession) with my PIN, that nobody knows, to withdraw funds at banks in California.
