Oral Surgeon Recommendations

Looking for a great oral surgeon based on other members experiences...any help out there?

Stephen Traub. He's pulled out several of my teeth and put in an implant. He's up-to-date on all procedures AND he's a film nut, so he's fun to talk to. And he gives out bizarre tee shirts. One I got I can't even wear in public. I enthusiastically recommend his work.

Great! I need wisdom teeth pulled and cannot seem to get an appointment with anyone until early December. Good thing the pain is not so bad anymore.

If you have insurance Dr. Steven Traub , he is not a provider for any insurance, he is also the most expensive oral surgeon in town and he is not board certified. And the shirts are not free- you paid for it. His brother Daniel Traub is better as is Jerry Jones or his partner or Chris McConnell. Or Steve Roholt.

Steven Traub is not a provider for any insurance plan, however the bill is still submitted to your insurance plan and mine paid most of it. I believe he is board certified.

My husband had a great experience with Dr. Timothy Gutierrez on Carlisle/Constitution-ish. In and out in an hour for wisdom teeth removal.

I had my wisdom teeth done at the UNM dental clinic and they were very nice and took my insurance. It is not fancy at all but was a great experience.

I totally agree with the recommendation of Dr. Timothy Gutierrez.. He's done two implants for me (~2001 and 2011) and everything has continued to go well. He's knowledgeable and pleasant. He works with dentist Douglas Gibbons.
