Anyone planning on attending this? If so what are the issues/concerns/etc. you plan on discussing? I'm curious....it might draw my attention to the issue/concern/etc. as well...enough to second the matter.

Haha, who is the "Major." Trust your instincts, if you think you might wig out or have some kind of anti-social behavioral meltdown, maybe you shouldn't go - but that's just an everyday good rule to live by. What is "fokesy" btw?

2 HOURS!? I appreciate the effort Mayor McCheese but your constituents deserve a lot more than two hours of your precious time...or overtime for him since he's "working" on a Saturday...my grievances regarding your barking dog policy alone will take 2 hours MINIMUM to discuss.
p.s. and the fact that subdivisions keep getting built but larger schools are not - portables stink!

My list is and ongoing deal.....which I'm sure is rather similar to others. These issues/concerns/etc. are all ongoing because the people in these positions i.e. directors are constantly trying to better the matter to fit the people it affects the most. We all have different arguments based on an individual’s standpoint.
For example the transit system:
An individual who rides the bus hopes for additional routes and later services.
vs.
An individual who doesn’t ride the bus thinks additional routes and later service are a waste of taxpayer’s money.
In these situations what do we do?
In my opinion just stay positive and hope for the best.

I’m open for hearing others concerns because it opens my eyes and allows me to view it from another standpoint….part of my reasoning for posting this.

The transit sytem is unique to every individual, In my opinion public transit would benifit everyone. The less environmental impact and the more green ABQ. goes the better for everyone. If extending hours stopped a few DUI's or DWI's it would save money for all.

Do you think this may be the venue for MC's declaration of his candidacy for Major - round 4?

I can't go either. I just can't contain myself. I am prone to outbursts and foul language. I can't tell my husband about it, because he is worse than I, and he WILL show up. Eeeee.

I happened to be in the mall around this time on Saturday. It really didn't look like a town hall, but rather a bunch of people from different city departments had booths set up with information to be handed out. They mostly seemed to be talking with one another and I didn't see the mayor.

the mayor was on the merry-go-round.
