What's going on, Albuquerque?

Republican vote fraud scheme

I just received evidence of a plan by Republicans for voter registration fraud in Albuquerque. I live alone and received one of those notices from the county clerk's office a few days ago informing me of absentee and early voting dates and locations in Bernalillo County. Today, Saturday, October 6, 2012, I received another of these notices addressed to Ms Cecilia Newcomer, a Republican woman born 8/20/1974.

No such person lives here.

Maybe that person lived at your address before you did ?

I bought my house 8/16/2010 and finished moving in on 10/16/2010. I have gotten lots of mail for several former residents here, but none for a Cecilia Newcomer. I expect something will be done about it. I have notified two people who can get something done: the county clerk herself, and Larry Barker of KRQE News.

Looks like a year for lots of dirty tricks. Here in Placitas, we received a bogus mailing claiming to be from a community leader accusing John Sapien, a democratic candidate of things bordering on criminal. Yesterday we got what I hope is the genuine letter from the community leader disavowing the first letter, saying that it seems to have come from a right-wing PAC funded by two southern NM oil companies wanting to build another pipeline thru Placitas.

You received and read someone elses mail with information on when and where to vote.... Wow. That's a scheming evil plan indeed....damn right wingers and they're plan to inform people!

Quite frankly, I was shocked about the reading someone else's mail part. I thought that was highly illegal.

He didn't necessarily open it or read it. He probably got the same letter from the County Clerk's office addressed to him. Then he would know from the envelope that it was likely the same thing.

It's a bogus theory...Clearly RebLem is just trying to turf a bit. You can find the same posting all over the place. Besides...the Dems notoriously have a lock on voter registration "fraud" if their is such a beast, just ask ACORN or whatever they call themselves now.
