Knowing where your bus is, in real time as well as getting other bus-related information should be reason enough to download ABQ RIDE’s app. But starting Sunday, March 10, 2013, you can also get discounted purchases at Jason’s Deli in the Uptown area by showing them your ABQ RIDE App.

Just show the ABQ RIDE App on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch screen or any page of that App and get 10% off your dine-in purchase.  

“ABQ RIDE is partnering with Jason’s Deli in Uptown not only as a way of supporting it, but also to support the ridership that supports the deli,” said Mayor Richard J. Berry. “I believe public transportation can be a catalyst in helping all of the new businesses that are opening or will be opening in Uptown.”

The promotion is specific to the ABQ RIDE app only, so please make sure you show the correct app (ABQ RIDE) when you present it at the Jason’s Deli in Uptown.

The 10% discount using the App will run through Wednesday, April 10, 2013.   

“We’re hoping more people will discover how easy it is to use our App through this venture with Jason’s Deli,” said Bruce Rizzieri, Director of ABQ RIDE. “As well as recognizing how convenient it is to take public transportation to the growing number of businesses in Uptown.”

This promotion coincides with our new Rapid Ride stop at Uptown. The stop is in front of the new Target on Indian School NE, just east of Louisiana.  It serves the westbound #766-Rapid Ride/Red Line as it comes out of the Uptown Transit Center and heads into Downtown Albuquerque.

The newly-minted stop brings a Rapid Ride bus to customers approximately every 15 minutes on weekdays. Customers will see a Rapid Ride bus at the stop approximately every 20 minutes on Saturdays and approximately every half hour on Sundays.
