I don't remember her name but there is a wonderful woman at the Drapery Studio (on Central just west of the river) who specializes in custom draperies. Her number is 836-6151.
It's been a looooong time ago (almost two decades), but I worked as a job coach and trained a young man to cut fabric for Maria's Interiors. I see they're still around after Googling them. I was quite impressed with the quality of their work, although I never used them personally. We sewed all our own (ever try a project like that with an engineer? how we stayed married I'll never know! ha!).

Good luck - and happy decorating!

Oh - this is what I found in the Google search:

Maria's Interiors

Albuquerque, NM 87105

Thanks!
I've got the person for you. She made mine for my office. Only problem: She doesn't charge enough. (I paid her more than her bill was.) Nice person too. Sewing by Angelic. 730-7868.
Thank you. I will make sure to pay her appropriately.
I was ready to pose this same question. My house is not southwestern, it is mid century modern with several sliding doors. I don't want neo-Tuscan cum Moorish heavy velvety window treatments. I want simple pleated sheers on a ceiling track. I can easily buy the hardware, is this the type of work Angelic did for you?
My wife went to this site to get the fabric for ours... VERY mid-century modern IMHO.
