Anybody else supremely bothered by the break-dancing sign-holders on more and more corners?

#1: you can't read the friggin' signs they're holding since they're insanely, stupidly, constantly in motion

#2: many of them are for places we'd rather forget (e.g., "Firehouse Subs")

#3: with so many virtually impaired drivers on the road, do we need this, too?

Can't something be done to control this latest distraction?

I rarely notice them.

If you pay attention to your driving, you won't notice them.

I guess I'm easily distracted.  But they still piss me off.  And it's not the fault of the poor people flailing the signs around -- it's the silly people hiring folks for this antiquated form of marketing.

What I worry about is the number of very young kids holding signs for some sort of fund raiser they are advertising who carelessly walk off of the median or sidwalk they are standing on and step right out into the street. I have had to dodge a lot of these kids while I was driving past and am really afraid that some of them are going to be hit by passing cars who might not see them in time.

That too ...

There's an overpass on westbound I-40 every morning with a bunch of Romney/Ryan fans waving flags and signs. It's quite distracting, especially when so many drivers go warp speed.
