Anybody else supremely bothered by the break-dancing sign-holders on more and more corners?
#1: you can't read the friggin' signs they're holding since they're insanely, stupidly, constantly in motion
#2: many of them are for places we'd rather forget (e.g., "Firehouse Subs")
#3: with so many virtually impaired drivers on the road, do we need this, too?
Can't something be done to control this latest distraction?

Permalink Reply by L. C. Sterling on October 5, 2012 at 2:56pm I guess I'm easily distracted. But they still piss me off. And it's not the fault of the poor people flailing the signs around -- it's the silly people hiring folks for this antiquated form of marketing.
Permalink Reply by DCMc on October 5, 2012 at 4:41pm What I worry about is the number of very young kids holding signs for some sort of fund raiser they are advertising who carelessly walk off of the median or sidwalk they are standing on and step right out into the street. I have had to dodge a lot of these kids while I was driving past and am really afraid that some of them are going to be hit by passing cars who might not see them in time.
