Any recommendations for a good gym that offers tumbling / gymnastics classes for pre-school kids? Would need to offer weekend classes. Preferably in the NE, but I have a funny feeling that most of the big places are on the west side. Not necessarily looking to do long-term classes, maybe just a 8-12 week session to start.

Not in the NE, but maybe this is what you're looking for. I've been meaning to check this out with my little one for ages, but am a bit disappointed by the limited weekend offerings. If you check it out, let us know what you think!

Hettie, you're a GENIUS!  I don't know how I missed this one -- we went to a birthday party at the (now-closed) east-side location many years ago, and it seemed great!  This is just about the right level for what we need, I think. (As a poitn of reference, we're just finishing up a summer session of soccer at Lil' Kickers...)  I just called and spoke to the owner (Carol), and got tons of info.  The Saturday classes are fairly limited, but they do have one at the age level we need.  I think we might check it out...

They don't list price info on the website, but it works out to roughly $15 per hour-long class.  You have to "sign up" for the full 40-week school-year session, but you can cancel at any time (with 30 day's notice) and the fees are pro-rated.

Still open to any and all other suggestions, though, so keep 'em coming!
