More out of towners and their request's. This time its not margaritas or a nice patio, its sopapillas!
Its not really my thing so I dont pay attention(my thing is cheese enchiladas w/red) People feel strongly about these different NM foods so I need to get some feedback from the DCF community.

I'm just now enjoying the sopapilla from my el patio take away and I can report that it's delicious even though it's cold. now that's a good sopa.
Maria's in Santa Fe has awesome sopaipillas!
wrong city, bro.
Hope you feel like a road trip. El Sombrero in Socorro has the best sop's. Nothing in Albuquerque compares.
I have been there 3 or 4 times and it is an exceptional restaurant.
I'm gonna have to say Los Cuates or Monroe's... or maybe even Little Anita's! Now we will need a side by side taste test. Sheesh. My belt thanks you.

Mmmm! Fried bread porn!

Probably not too popular here, but the Sopa's in Tomasita's near the plaza in Santa Fe are my longtime favorite!   Mmmm...

Tomasita's is not my favorite place in SF, but their sopas are good.

El Patio still wins this hands-down, although the sopapillas at Cocina Azul are also very tasty.

Stufy's, of course!  14 different types of stuffed sopapilla's - http://www.stufys.com/The_Menu.html

(I keep on meaning to try the new one on Juan Tabo....)
