I am starting on some Win 7 training:  http://www.trainsignal.com/Windows-7-Administration-Training.aspx

I like TrainSignal. Are there resources you recommend?

Good to know.

CNM the local community college has W7 & W 2008 server classes, cheap @ $80 tuition and 1 class, you get a free MSDN - Dream Spark account as a student with access to all the MS software.

Soon I heard they may start a VMware Academy as well. They have long had a Cisco Academy.

Sometimes they are a bit behind the times but dirt cheap.

Currently, I am scrambling with interviews. Lots of Web Dev stuff. Email me when you arrive.

Will do.

Thanks for the tip on CNM.  That sounds great!

I'll be settled in permanently on Wednesday, the 27th.

Welcome. I messaged you a local Sys Admin group and recruiter.

Well, it looks like Microsoft is going to have to hold off for a while.  Cisco is doing a real mind bender with their new exams, due out in September.  They will require all users of routers / switches, etc. to have licensed versions of IOS, which are hideously expensive (> $3,000 for routers).  They are instituting licensing and DRM as part of the updated test.

BTW, Trainsignal has moved more in line with CBT Nuggets and Udemy by making ALL of their training available for $49/month.

I am moved in and in training mode now.

Good luck!

Good on Trainsignal for the change.

I switched to the MS book and a home lab.

I purchased: http://www.amazon.com/Training-Kit-Exam-70-462-Administering/dp/073...

and am setting up my laptop to do the labs.
