Took the Rapid Ride downtown for the first time last week. One buck - what a deal!! I did it to avoid the 100 glorious days of summer sponsered by APD. On the way back, there was a major check point that the bus just blew by!

I moved to ABQ just a year and half ago. I am very pleased with the bus service here. I have ridden busses all my life and do not drive. Large cities run their bus lines either until midnite or 24hrs. Here in Burque, the buses shut down around 9 pm on weekdays and 5 pm on Sundays. I live in upper NW near Coors Blvd and Cottonwood. That's about 2- miles from dwtn. I son't go out at night b/c I am afraid of missing my bus downtown after 9 pm or 5 pm.  Is there any proposal to keep major lines like 79-, 155, and 147 till at least midnite?
