Last weekend my husband and I took our scraggy mutt for a walk down by the river in El Bosque. We went on an adventure to discover an area along the rio where we could walk our pup along the water front and ended up by the Alameda Open Space. He loves being out 'in nature' as do we and we were wondering where are some other good places in or around ABQ for taking your four-legged friends to be out 'in nature'.

P.S. We've also taken him to the petroglyphs which was fun.

Really? Nobody's got a suggestion? Where is everyone?

Not so much activity here so I don't check it often........however I do have some suggestions for you if you would like.....go to road south of grants towards San Rafael, see the Bandera Caldera, Bat Caves, El Morro with your dog I am not sure about El Morro but I have seen a lot of dogs at the other places. Ice Caves are also in the area which is an extra charge.....lots of El Malpais wilderness all around the area very interesting to someone who loves the out of doors.

I  haven't  been  on  here  for  a  long  time  either,  guess  I  need  to  perk  up  again.  Thank  you  for  your  comments.
