We at Immanuel Presbyterian Church invite you to visit us during the Summer Fest in Nob Hill on July 23 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and take advantage of our complimentary pet and people cool-down station.  We're at Carlisle and Silver, SW but the cool-down station will be set up in our East parking lot on Hermosa Street just SW of Central.  We'll have shade, water and treats for our four-footed friends (and their bi-pedal associates!)  Come help us celebrate Summer at the Albuquerque Summer Fest in Nob HIll

Is there a group dog park that keeps dogs overnight.  My daughter in Northern California has a wonderful indoor/outdoor place where she takes Ayla,  a found stray I had in Missouri that needed to be an indoor dog with a fence.  Ayla is a dalmation mix, with blue eyes and deaf and a wonderful dog that wanted to chase cars when I lived in Missouri on a farm.   I have two 12 yr old sisters that are wanta bee labs and just wonderful.  I need a place to board them this weekend, if my neighbor can not care for them.

Yeah, this was taken last fall by the Rio Grande when we used to live in Las Cruces. At the time the water was really shallow with lots of sandbars. I've seen the Rio Grande up here like this but not in recent memory. I was thinking of taking him up to Jemez hot springs this spring/summer. Let me know if you find some dog friendly waters here in Burque. Take care, Bren.
