Right. So the night hit a snag with us unable to grab a lane at the usual dive. Cathyrays ringers (though technically Chet and Tracy are LLUA members) stepped to the fore and with the help of yours truly -- a little inebriated and not much worse for the wear -- we packed in in and took off for the north valley and Lucky 66 lanes.
Tracy brought the Pizza. Cathyray actually bowled and we shared the lucky purple ball.
Of course, competition was fierce with the New (modified) trophy up for grabs. Kyle, unsatisfied with the minisculity of the previous trophy has created a piece of craftsmanshiplike awesomeness.
We've agreed that each successive winner must add to the trophy now -- in a dignified and restrained manner. It must be kept small enough to fit in a car. If motors or engines are attached, they must meet current EPA fuel efficiency standards.
In the end, I, Dick Chingadero took home the trophy. I don't think I actually won, though. Anyway, some people are trophies and some people have trophies thrust upon them. I'm in the latter camp. I'm considering adding a toe. By 3pm.
