After 5 great years organizing the Albuquerque Coop Tour, Jennifer has retired. Thank you for your hard work.

Bernalillo County 4H will organize the event this year.

The tour will be on the weekend of July 13 and 14. It will be mostly the same as in years past, but we are adding rabbit hutches/rabbitries to the tour.

More information will be coming soon. Save the date if you want to participate (with your coop/hutch, or as a tourist). I will be providing more details soon.

Dear Kevin,

Do you have any 4H kids with an unwanted Rooster that needs a good home? I'm looking for a RIR, NHR, a Red Leghorn or even a Speckled Sussex. I am looking to bred Sex-linked chicks so I need one that will have the gold/red fluff gene. It must be nonaggressive as I have small kids. I have 8 hens right now and plenty of space.

Danielle

Great news!  Looking forward to hearing about the tour.  :)
