So I was at the vet's today and they say that a peking duck (male) needs a home ASAP.  Owner is leaving town and needs someone who will keep him as a pet (not dinner) and has a fenced yard.  I understand he runs away, not flies away, runs.  Hmmm.  Anyway, if any one is interested, the phone number at the Academy Vets office is 821-6900. I spoke with Laura.  BTW...if the little fella doesnave a home by Wednesday, the owner will have him snuffed out.  Yeah,...weird.  So, the vet's folks really want this guy to get a home...as a pet, with a fence...per current owner.
