I was searching different local area websites for chicken supplies and found out that the Westside shelter currently has three hens and a rooster for adoption! I called and the fee is $2 per chicken to adopt! If anyone was looking for a few hens and maybe a rooster for their flock it would be a great thing if you would adopt them from the city. I'm sure they're not happy there in captivity with the City and would love a nice loving home with a fellow chicken lover! Or maybe one of you can forward the info to someone looking to start raising some chickens.

Here is the link for the city website, just make sure that where it asks what type of animal that you choose other and than click the button that says "find pet"

 http://www.cabq.gov/pets/lost-adoptable-pet-form

I would take these beautiful animals if I had a bigger coop but I don't :(

Thanks everyone for reading this and hopefully these chickens can find a nice home!

Adios Amigos,

Vanessa
