Thank you for that! I drove all the way to Corrales (live in SV) only to find that the 40# bag was $43! No way was I spending a more than a dollar per pound for chicken food. But 25 is doable.

Woah...$43 for a 40lb bag is insane..there must be a couple gold flakes in that feed.

The last I heard East Mountain Organics was still selling their organic feed at the price of $25 for a 50 lb bag - pick up is at the downtown farmers market. They're selling Big Sky Organics. We tried two bags of it, and even though its a mash blend my chickens ate it up and really did well on it.
