Yes I did clean and organize for this, so here are the 3 keys shelves of my garage pantry and their contents (from top to bottom, left to right):

top row• lipton garlic and herb mix, lipton onion soup mix, french market coffee, cafe du monde coffee, sugar

middle row•tomato sauce, tomato paste, Barilla Marinara, Tony Chachere's Creole Gumbo Mix, assorted pasta basket, Grey Poupon large jars, cans mini ravioli, Sunsweet Lemon Essence Prunes (i have them shipped, tried hunting them down in stores with no luck and they are that good), Oriential Ramen, Oysters (for da gumbo), waterchestnuts, mac and cheese boxes, Best Foods Mayo.

bottom row• plain bread crumbs, hot chocolate, ketchup, Louisiana brand Red Beans & Rice mix, ESSN (sparkling meyer lemon juice), chicken broth, beef brooth, canned mushrooms, canned corn, assortment of Progresso soups, LESUER peas (and never any other pea), Plotchmans Mustard, french green beans, Del Monte mixed vegtables, sweeten condensed milk, packages of Tuna (not cans).

Favorite can recipe to share: Salade Macedoin (a great cold summer salad, kids love it!)

One can good mixed vegatables (the kind without potatoes), a dollop of mayo and a touch of salt (optional). Mix and chill for 30 minutes before serving.

We did a lot of work to turn the laundry room off the kitchen into a real pantry - had a drain installed in the garage so we could move the machines. It was worth it! Though I need to spend some time reorganizing and cleaning. This picture was taken just after it became a pantry.

The top shelf is "fun" bottles and jars, interesting things I want to see (BBQ and other sauces, exotic ingredients, honey, chiles, canned fish, anything that comes in a pretty jar). The bottom shelf holds boring cans and bottles (beans, broth, etc). The baskets on the floor hold pasta, rice, and Asian ingredients in bags (e.g. shiitake mushrooms). The baskets on the middle shelf hold smaller bagged items - ramen, chocolate chips, nuts and dried fruit, etc.

There's a larger set of shelves to the left holding larger baskets: one of boxes (crackers, boxed mixes, etc), one of bags (chips and other snacks, mostly), and one of containers and Ziplocs. It also serves as a liquor cabinet. On top of that shelf there is now an Aerogarden I got for my birthday, which grows fresh herbs year-round - a very fun thing to have!
