OK now that i have your attention ;)

There's a new teacher in town on Cutler off of Pennsylvania in that residential area there. His name is Jeff (or Darshanie, or someone else, depending on the day you go) and they are bringing Ashram-authentic Sivananda Yoga to you! I've been going for a few weeks now and am convinced that this practice is the city's best-kept secret. Classes generally start at 5:30PM on weeknights and offer advanced hatha and vinyasa in a structured setting. There are Saturday classes too at 10:30 with an Ayurvedic lunch following.

Best part is, its only $5. For authentic, non-commercialized yoga.

I own a small studio called Mariah Yoga & Meditation where we teach mindfulness yoga, and I love hearing about and joining others in town who are doing things well.

There is a class M, W 5:30 - vigorous hatha/vinyasa/sivananda

There is a beginner/injured class Tu 5:30. This class is gentle and uber -taylored.

As for this Saturday August 22:: Here is the lastest from JEFF

Hope your having a good summer. Here is the Lunch menu for this Saturday.

Menu
* Hummus
* Pita Bread
* Green Salad w/dressing
* oatmeal cookies

Lunch is at 11:30, immediately following the 10am yoga class.
If anyone would like to help cook, you can come at 8:30am. Lunch has to be
ready before the yoga class at 10:00, so if you come at 9 or 9:30 you can
still help if you like.
