It's so wonderful to find this group. I'm still fairly new to ABQ and have just been diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm looking for a massage therapist, someone who is a Reiki therapist and most certainly open to any and all forms of alternative healing. Can anyone lead me in the right direction? Namaste, Janene

ive now done my second session with acupuncture seen by Dr. Harvey. hes very nice and very professional. ive been having some strange back spinal problems and he has helped me and ive only had to sessions. i recommend him to anyone who is seeking at this time. its very relaxing while he has the needles in me down my spine, very nice. he treats my anxiety as well. any questions??? im stephanie

Cupcake PHaroah - I went to Jenlinn Silva and had a wonderful treatment. I really appreciate the recommendation. I would recommend her to anyone else out there that is interested in acupuncture.

If you need an acupuncturist i would recommend Jin Len Silva at Gambei Wellness Spa on Wellesley (down the street from Kelly's in Nob Hill between Central and Silver). She is a DOM and an extremely friendly, gentle, and sweet lady. I work in her spa occasionally as a massage therapist, and have recieved accupuncture from her several times. each time my condition GREATLY improved, and i left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Check the spa out too, it is a beautiful space. 255-2555 is the number. Good Luck!

I am looking for an acupuncturist.

I've received a lot of acupuncture in the past and had a variety of practitioners do their thing on me. Some seemed very talented - but for some reason didn't my fit sensibilities quite right. I've used acupuncture treatment for everything from sinus infections, general irritability, post-ligament surgery, pinched nerves, pained muscles, ripped tendons, rheumatoid arthritis (and blah blah blah). It has been very effective. And it's been a long time since I've been.

I would like to find someone that is interested in helping me heal. I would like someone that doesn't bring their personal drama into their practice. I don't want someone that thinks I should throw away my meds and take only chinese herbs. If this someone happened to take Presbyterian insurance, then I'd feel better already!

I'm interested in hearing your acupuncture stories and/or recommendations. Anyone?
