CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS!
Based on the model of community supported agriculture (CSA) programs, CSAs for art have sprung up all over the country in the last few years. Harwood Art Center is pleased to present New Mexico’s first art CSA, in partnership with community coordinators Jill Riester and Rachel Harris-Huffman.
Harvest Community Supported Art will provide an opportunity for local artists to gain exposure and connect with new collectors. Selected artists will receive a $1000 stipend to create a body of 56 pieces for inclusion in the Harvest CSA Boxes.
The inaugural Harvest CSA Boxes will feature original works by 10 artists and be delivered to program shareholders during the 2014 season of the Downtown Growers' Market.
We invite artists of all disciplines to submit proposals to participate in the inaugural Harvest CSA. Applications are due Monday, September 16th, 2013. There is $10 fee to apply; collected fees will provide direct support to the program and selected artist stipends.
Note: All artwork and information must be submitted online.
