We are expecting our first baby in July and wondering if anyone here had any good recommendations for baby daycare? We are looking to put a 4-6 mos old in daycare in the winter... Thanks!
Hi. I'm new to the group. Just looking to connect with other families in the area. In particular, I am passionate about homebirth and education issues.
Also, trying to spread the word about an upcoming event a group I am part of is hosting. The group is called PTEC (Parents and Teachers for an Educated Community). We are working to inform families about testing and accountability practices in our schools and how to opt out of testing. We are putting on a free showing of Standardized Lies, Money, and Civil Rights: How Testing is Ruining Public Education. The film will be shown on Wednesday, June 25 at 6:30 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church (431 Richmond Place NE). Childcare and snacks will be provided. If you want more info, you can contact me, or Francesca at firstname.lastname@example.org. Feel free to share info about the event with others. It would be a good place to talk with others about school concerns and get more info about this issue.
