Beer Time?

Belgian, German, Dutch, French, Russian, Thai, Japanese, Canadian, American, or local...

If you love beer in any and or all it's forms you're welcome here.

Beer snobs and swill drinkers unite. If you love the hoppy suds, the yeasty sours, the lambic, the abbey, the lager, ale, stout, or the pale, it's all good here...

So raise a glass and congratulate yourself on living in the best place on earth - or the middle of the f'ing desert - whichever way you see it...

We just went ot one of Season's Jazz on the Patio last night and it was a good time! While we were there I found out about an upcoming "Beer Dinner". So, I thought that I would let everyone know about some really good sounding dinners coming up at Season's. Here is the info from their website.
"We're planning an evening of blues and brews on our upstairs patio with a Sierra Nevada Beer Dinner on Thursday, July 24th. This casual evening affair will start at 6:30 pm with a reception course including passed appetizers. The seated portion of the dinner will begin at 7:00 pm and include four additional courses. Check out the menu below. If you have questions or would like to make reservations send us an e-mail at

Finally, on August 22nd, Seasons will present a Scotch Whiskey Dinner. The dinner will be hosted by a certified Scotch Ambassador from Diageo Distributing.

Look for finalized menus, dates and starting times here in the near future. If you have any questions please feel free to call us at 766-5100 or send us an e-mail to the address above".

I am the organizer for the Albuquerque Beer Group. It is free to sign up, join and attend meeetups. No spam! We already have 60+ members but would like more.

Includes information on upcoming beer festivals and tastings. Future plans include weekend road trip tours of Tractor Brewery in Los Lunas and Ska Brewery in Durango.

Word of a couple new brewpubs coming downtown. Anyone have details?

Stephen CM, one is Goathead Brewing, which will be a brewery/brewpub on 6th and Central downtown. Music venue, rooftop space, to open in spring. Don't know of another downtown, but La Cumbre is opening a sizeable brewery/tap house in Girard/Candelaria area, run by the former Chama head brewer.
