Burque Bikers,

After a few near misses over the last month while froggering across Central, I finally broke down and called the city about considering a rush hour traffic light.  I am generally not in favor of more traffic lights, but I've seen many near misses (both cars and bikes).  The city was surprisingly responsive and someone from the traffic light dept will observe the intersection sometime next week (10/1-5, probably Tu, We or Th), both morning and evening.  I'll post an update if they call back with a specific date.  So if you want to share your opinion, either for or against, you can look for someone watching the intersection or email Matthew Yannoni, MYannoni@cabq.gov.  Please spread the word to anyone else who may be interested as well.

Ride safe!
