Silver Ave. Bike Blvd

Can anyone elaborate on the possible switch of east/west stop signs being exclusively north/south stop signs (except Yale and Girard) in the UNM area? I thought that stop sign adjustments came with official Bike Boulevard status.

Plus, the signs on the pavement read CYC.
