Oh, wait!  What's that up in the sky, way, way, way up there?  What if I grabbed one of those?  What if...

...what if I... somehow... I could get up that far and knock one out of the sky and it fell who knows where and I had to drag it back to the nest...

You know, pigeons and doves are perfectly good to eat, don't fight back, are easy to carry... Yeah, I'll stick with them.
