Life, food, events, and community in Albuquerque, NM

Who is going?

I've got a teeny tiny 600 square foot apartment in DC that will have 9 people staying in it on Inauguration weekend - 5 from Albuquerque. I know at least a dozen others from the Duke City who are planning to attend, and maybe 10 or so people who have talked about it.

So, are you going to this historic event?

What are your plans?

Boyfriend and I are crashing in Adams Morgan (DC neighborhood) with my college roommate and going to watch the inauguration the next day. Just heard a report that if you're planning on driving into DC, all major bridges will be closed on the day of due to security concerns! YIKES! Also there is a commemorative subway (metro) card w/ Obama's face on it for historical groupies. Can't wait!!!; ▶ Reply to This
