We happened to stumble in on Saturday for the "soft opening" or something- we live like a block away and noticed the lights on, people, etc. It was great- we got a margherita, to get a sense of their pizza philosophy, if you will, and everything was really well executed. Personally, I'd like a little less cheese, to let the sauce and crust shine, but that's just me. It looks like Farina will be giving Pizzeria Bianco a run for their money.
Official opening was Friday 10/24. Extremely impressed by the all the food, the pizza is outstanding, and yes, close to the stellar pies at Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix. Kudos to the all Italian and very affordable wine list.
Went to farina last night with the pizza snob in my life and he found it superb. "More complex flavors than Il Vicino," he attests. We're both big fans of the ambiance and were pleased to see the place packed on a Monday night.
