Craigslist is posting job openings for an Indian restaurant at 7520 4th St. NW.  Any idea what that would be?  It appears to be in the building where Annapurna was (they recently moved south on 4th St.)  They are looking for servers with beer and wine certification, which is promising, too.  Would be nice if we could get a nice Indian restaurant in my part of town.

I only caught a glance at it the last time I drove by, but I thought I saw the name "Paddy Rawal" on the coming soon sign. If he is indeed opening an ABQ branch, that is good news...I have never been (my Santa Fe dining experiences trend New Mexican), but Paddy's place seems to get a lot of good reviews for fresh, innovative Indian.

Yes, the ad said "Call Paddy"! This is great news; the place in SF gets rave reviews.

I had lunch at Raaga last week and can vouch for the raves. Delish.

Sounds like it's open...

"The menu combines Northern Indian cuisine with Chinese fusion dishes and has vegan and gluten-free items." Sounds interesting, at least...

It's getting great reviews, just like his restaurant in Santa Fe.  I'm going tonight.

Thanks for the heads up!  We'll definitely be trying it out soon!

We went tonight and it was excellent.  The atmosphere, the aroma when you walk in, the staff.  They're getting their beer and wine license in a couple of weeks.  Garlic cilantro naan.. wow.  Everything was fantastic.  If you live in the north valley, you *have* to go, and if you live in another part of town, it's worth the drive.  We are lucky to have Paddy's new restaurant in Albuquerque.
