Hi folks! I'm a recent explorer of veganism, and looking for restaurants in Albuquerque (bonus: places in Santa Fe) that are vegan and vegan-friendly.

I'm compiling that information in a blog called Duke City Vegan (http://dukecityvegan.com/) to create a resource for vegan eating options around town (I love eating out just as much as I love cooking at home).

If you know of places that are good (I'm trying to stay focused on local places that have a dedication for fresh, high-quality ingredients), I'd love to hear about them.

My two favorites so far: Mint Tulip and Vegan Thai.

Thanks for your input!

I second the nominatoin for Thai Vegan on Osuna--very good, even for this non-Vegan.  But I think you've pretty much summarized the Vegan options in Albuqurque already--I imagine many places have Vegan dishes--but see very few restaurants in town even identify them as such.  Annapurna is one of the few others I can think of that has many Vegan options.

oh, yes, annapurna is a good one, too. thanks for the reminder!

Thanks for sharing your blog and for keeping tabs on vegan options in town.

i'm glad you like it! thanks for the support (and suggestion to add it to chow town).
