Dig your Hands in the Dirt: Planting your Vegetable Garden
with Joran Viers (County Program Director, Bernalillo County Cooperative Extension Service)
Saturday March 20 • 10:00am @ Rio Grande Community Farm
A short presentation will be followed by Q&A and discussion.

This workshop will focus on details related to getting plants (or seeds) into the ground.
Topics will include:
Plant selection
Plant positioning
Microclimates
Seeds and starts
What to plant and when
Rio Grande Community Farm Directions:
Park in Open Space lot on Tierra Viva Pl NW (1.1 miles west of 4th St. on Montaño) Walk east to the barn/greenhouse (RGCF staff will direct you)
Bring a lawn chair!
Admission is FREE to members of Rio Grande Community Farm, Gardener’s Guild and Harwood Art Center. Non-member admission is $5 (kids are free)

Its variable, but it will end around noon. it depends partly on the nature of the questions/discussions.

It sure does! Let me know if you want to register and I'll make sure you get a packet if you don't already have one (and I will have some with me on Saturday as well).
Remember that this workshop is at Rio Grande Community Farm and not the Action Buzz Garden (we rotate around).
