I don't actually know how to rollerblade, but I've been wanting to learn for a long time. I actually bought my first pair this weekend. Maybe if I practice a bit, I can actually participate!

Be sure to get some protective gear- once you're not afraid to fall down everything else is fun and easy.
I've been rollerblading since about 1985 when I got a pair of Zetra 100's- Nothing teaches you to use that brake like taking a sled dog for a walk!
The open space is great place to go to skate and get exercise. UNM is nice too. -
