Next weeks ruby meetup should be filled with fun challenges from basic to advanced.

Let's challenge each other this week by talking about favorite ruby interview questions. These can range from the basic to the expert knowledge. It will be ruby focused questions, we can save rails questions for another meetup.

So bring some questions you are challenged by or want to challenge us with. Some ideas are:
Traditional programming problems to solve in ruby
How is ruby different from other languages?
Questions about classes, objects, hashes, methods, blocks, ....

Please RSVP on

Wow. This group has completely blown up. That's terrific. Any interest out there to be an admin?

Hi all. I'm a software developer working with ruby on rails for a couple of years now. I live in San Francisco, but will be moving to Albuquerque in October. I have been working mostly in Agile driven projects using TDD and peer programming. It would be great to share ideas and collaborate with others in Albuquerque.

Hey... quick plug for Abq Web Geeks -- happy hour meet-up is tomorrow night @ Seasons. Maybe some folks could share some Ruby Goodness?

New to the group. I do rails and jquery. Switched from php/codeigniter/extjs for a variety of reasons (bandwidth, security, etc.). Currently working on crud patterns using grids and forms jquery(1.4-newest)/rails(3.0-newest)/ajax.

Want to learn rails 3.0? Use the rails guides........skip most of the books.

Looking forward to a meeting or two.

This Duke City Group appears to be for Ruby on Rails. The twice-monthly meetings are for people who are interested in Ruby for whatever reason.

At the SWCP meetings, I Initially tried to alternate between Ruby on Rails and Ruby in other contexts, but a lot of the people who have shown up are interested in Rails, so we've done a lot of talking about that.

Part of the interest in Rails has to do with the fact that some of us are also Mac OS X developers and Rails makes a nice backend for iPhone (and now iPad) apps.

Hello all, Is this group focused on RoR, or do you also discuss other Ruby related applications (scripting,...)?
