IDEA: Build a new convention center where the abandoned winrock center is. Realize that downtown is 5 years away from the progress of ABQ Uptown. Downtown can be a great place for affordable housing and Transit Oriented Development (TOD) but, we need to show tourist the best that Albuquerque has to offer... ABQ Uptown!
