This workshop will focus on growing vegetables in the fall and winter months. Si, se puede!
Albuquerque is blessed with a climate that allows us to grow vegetables all year round!

Topics will include:
what can I grow in the fall and winter?
when should I plant?
should I plant seeds or starts?
how do I protect against frost?
and more!


A short presentation will be followed by Q&A and discussion.

Admission is FREE to members of Rio Grande Community Farm, Gardener’s Guild and Harwood Art Center. Non-member admission is $5 (kids are free)

Rio Grande Community Farm is located on Tierra Viva Pl NW, 1.1 miles west of 4th St on Montaño

• Park in the Open Space lot on Tierra Viva Pl NW
(1.1 miles west of 4th St. on Montaño)

• Walk east to the barn/greenhouse
(RGCF staff will direct you)

• Bring a lawn chair!
