It's about time to go tree shopping. This year I will be finishing up my front yard food forest and if you want to add to my order we can both save on bulk discount pricing. JUST TO BE CLEAR, I am NOT selling you trees. We can go in together and qualify for discount prices.
I will, for sure, be getting hazelnuts, walnuts, huge variety of raspberries, strawberries, likely some blueberries, & grapes GALORE! I am open to lots of different fruit, nut and berry trees, so if you are looking for a particular thing I might be persuaded to add one to my little food forest in the making.
I already have productive almond, peach, apricot, cran-appleish (don't know what it is), fig, nectarine, plum, apple, cherry (though I could use more), pear, sugar maple (sapling), and pinion tree (sapling). If someone is interested in these I might be persuaded to finish/restart my backyard food forest.
reply if interested.
just wondering where you are ordering from? Is there an on line catalog? I might be interested...
There are many online catalogs. Depends on the particular plant. What are you looking for?
I usuallt order from Baker, Territorial and high country..I am thinking of adding quince, apricot, cherry and maybe some berries. It would help knowing just to keep my budget in check and also to know the source just because I like to know as much info as possible .
I am interested. Would you be willing to share your experience and knowledge about these trees/plants? I have been considering what fruit or nut trees to add to my yard, I also want to add berries. And when are you ordering. Thanks for the opportunity to save money - most neccessary.
I consider myself a beginner when it comes to orchards. Of course I am happy to help with anything I know. I have an apple, peach, pear, nectarine, two plums and raspberry and black berry. I am hoping to get the order in soon maybe withing the next week or two...does that sound good? I have been reading up on varieties that will do better here. Also hoping to get a meyer lemon.
I'd like to talk to you about the order. Is that possible?
I have a meyer lemon. They have to be indoors for winter.
How long have you had your lemon tree and where did you purchase from? I was thinking of ordering from Territorial.
My lemon is from osuna nursery. In the green house area they have orange, banana and other tropical plants. I think I spent 20-30 for the trees. I've had them for 2-3 years except I killed the banana when my green house collapsed under the snow last winter.
id be glad to help. I;ll call this weekend.
