I have heard different things about chickens in ABQ in an R1 zone.  Does anyone know if the coop has to be located a certain distance from neighboring homes? Thanks.

Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for the offer. Feel free to call me and we can coordinate. two05-316eight.

We weren't planning on cutting our cholla, but it's pretty big. You're welcome to have some of it...

Also, we are about to prune our prickly pear away from some other plants and the sidewalk, so if anyone wants a couple of pads, let me know.

Comment by Jennifer H. on April 20, 2013 at 12:31pm

I'm looking for a few medium sized cholla clippings. Please contact me if you're cutting back or removing any from your yard. Thanks!

I have a few plants that I would like to divide and pull out of garden. If anyone is interested I have plumbago, yarrow,Iris, maximilian sunflower and valerian. You would need to bring your own soil and container.

Comment by Danielle Ramsey on April 19, 2012 at 7:59am

Where do you buy fertilizer locally? We have several acres that we are planting in oats this weekend and our soil needs a bit of Nitrogen added.  This would be a bulk buy.  Also open to other suggestions.

Chase Hardware had the canner, jars, lifters- everything I needed. Thank you so much- I had no idea they were even there, as N 4th is out of my "zone."  It is a wonderful old fashined hardware store &  I will go back again.

Now to get all the beans picked...!

Chase Hardware on 4th St. just north of Osuna is where mine came from.  Happy canning!
