A Great Way to Celebrate

Buca Di Beppo was our night out with family last Saturday. We were with a group of 16 people and Buca Di Beppo handled it wonderfully. This is really a great place to take a party. Their food is great and some of their drinks are right on the spot. Each couple ordered their own plate and we passed them all…See More

Great sandwiches at Jason's Deli

We were in the mood for a great sandwich and right away Jason's Deli came to mind. We usually go to the Jason's Deli on Alameda because that is the one that is closest to us but there are three locations across town and I am sure that you will find one near you.I usually get their Famous Salad Bar which has lots of great tasting choices like fresh-cut vegetables, select organics,…See More

As the days get warmer try La Michoacana De Paquime to help cool down

One of my husband's and my favorite places to go on a hot day is La Michoacana De Paquime. There are two locations here in town, one on Central and Coors and one on Zuni and San Pedro I don't even know if when I say the name that I am pronouncing it correctly but that isn't what matters. What matters is the tasty goodies that await inside. I love their paletas which are ice pops made with fresh fruit and are usually water- or milk- based. My favorite flavor is platano(banana) which is milk…See More

El Paisa and the Albuquerque/Bernalillo County Library System

One place that my husband and I love to go to get great food is El Paisa. It is located at 820 Bridge SW. They serve Mexican food such as burritos, tacos and tortas. Before El Paisa became a restaurant it started as a cart that the owner would sell burritos out of. I personally really like their chile relleno burritos and their carne asada tacos. My husband's fav is the menudo (I can't stand the stuff but he is weird like that). The food is amazing and it is authentic Mexican food. The food is…See More
