Easter Brunch Recommendations

Posted on March 29, 2010 at 12:21pm 0 Comments

I am trying to plan my family's easter brunch plans. I am looking for a place that offers delicious fare, preferably not Mexican/New Mexican food, a place that makes reservations and is able to accommodate 10-12 people. Any suggestions? I really need to do it soon before places start to fill up. Thanks!

Burque Appreciation

Posted on March 21, 2010 at 8:33pm 2 Comments

I arrived this morning at 11:30 am from Los Angeles, California via Amtrak. I went out to California to visit one of my best friends who left in the middle of our sophomore year of high school because her dad got a job promotion out there. Upon my arrival to ABQ, I felt a profound appreciation that I had never felt before. Despite the biting cold wind, I was glad… Continue

Do you despise the "immature frat boy" and "arrogant play boy" stereotypes women label you with? What DO you look for in a woman? Do guys really dislike monogamy and long term relationships? Is it all about sex? How important is physical appearance to you?I want to get into the male psyche. Maybe to make myself feel better… Continue

Love in the City?

Posted on February 19, 2010 at 1:55pm 12 Comments

I don't want to sound like an angsty, emo, or desperate high school teen in this blog but I have been having mixed emotions about love lately. To clarify things, I am a 24 year old single hispanic female, never been married and do not have any kids. I see the latter fact a "success" and out of the norm for woman my age in this city, because a high percentage of my senior class in high school ended up pregnant, some with their second child. I consider myself a well educated, open minded, down to… Continue

Radio at Risk

Have you heard about this? http://noperformancetax.org
Albuquerque already lacks a variety of radio stations, if they pass this tax, what will be left?

Thanks for your kind comment, Alicia. I'm a UNT advertising grad myself and work in the advertising bus here in ABQ. Please let me know if I can help you network.
