Cool photo here!!! Are those special folks in your life?
And there is a soap group - didn't know.
Well , I am going to make appt to talk to Human resources at APS when I ge back from big book conference mid Feb. I just wanna see about parttime - I am still a small biz owner and have a big mural project I'm working on for next year and a half.
I really love our daughter's school Amy Biehl. Now THAT would be a fantastic place to teach!
Until soon,

How's the 3 day weekend?
Thanks for being a member of Teaching in Albq.!
Checkin' in to your page - I hadn't seen your reply back yet. Thanks.
I am involved with a big community mural project up in Placitas - check out the comment section on my page for some photos about it. I am learning mosaic.
I am thinking that I will need to get back into public school teaching again with arts funding going down the tubes.
I only teach at the museum in the summer. Clay classes here at my studio tho in the fall winter and spring.
too bad Rio Rancho didn't see their money problem coming sooner and plan better - hate to see them asking teachers to leave!
I have a good group of kids this year and only 21 of them so I am quite happy about that. Last year I had 24 and it was so many!
I know our workload is higher with all of the documentation we have to do. I know that I never catch up. But I came into teaching on this wave of more, more, more so I don't know have any comparisions - except for my own kids.
off to write lesson plans for next week, and sub plans because I'll be out for a training, and grading and ...
Are you teaching at the Natural History Museum this fall?
Good to hear from you.
How's your group of kids this year?
I think I spotted you and Sherra Youberg commuting one day!
I am not much of a group leader these days for the teaching website tho when my current work dies down a bit I am going to interview a few of my teacher friends on teacher workload and how it has changed over the past 10 years.
So glad to have your addition to the Teaching I find I don't have the time for it! I do love to keep talking about teaching tho I am not in the public schools. This summer and last I have been at the Natural History Museum's summer camp mostly teaching their art adventure weeks - leading kids on a different hike each day. l also teach clay classes at my own studio. Then there's the press - still providing us with some book sales tho we are turning out fewer and fewer books. I also have a fun tile series I've been making. I am also working on a big tile mural project again!
This is why I do not get around to this blogsite much!
Cb just started at Amy Biehl this week - high school! Where do your sons go?
