There is a *lot* going on here if you know where to look. Another event you might be interested in is the New Mexico Gnu/Linux Fest. We're also organizing a Startup Weekend for later this year.

Greetings Don Schrader Fans and Friends!

Have you noticed that for the last few days we have been a "featured group"? See: http://www.dukecityfix.com/groups

I do not know how long it will last, but now would be a fitting time to share your Don Schrader stories by starting a new thread or responding to one that I got going.

I for one am hungry for Schrader stories.

Be Well.

Hi! Thanks for creating the 'Pythonic ABQ' group. I'm a Python web application developer myself (mostly Zope/Plone, but now Google App Engine as well).

Thanks for the safe cycling tips on the thread. I wish I could transmit that directly into the heads of everyone riding the wrong way. Getting rear-ended is statistically the least likely cause of a bike-car collision, while riding the wrong way (or worse, on the sidewalk) is the number one cause of bicycle fatalities.

Oh, and I said I'd introduce you to XKCD and... some other thing. Here's one:

So, as it turns out, I actually AM familiar with some of Burroughs' work, specifically his Thanksgiving Prayer.
