"It is true! I still buy seed and feed everyone. Although, I bought tube and sock feeders that are not dove friendly. But I do scatter seed on the ground for everyone."

"darned if i know. hubster started feeding the red finches early this summer and the doves came in and settled in for the duration. we have a t least a dozen and fight with the finches over the food.. he keeps buying feed by bulk and they visit twice…"

Doves, doves, doves!

Have you all noticed how many white-winged doves there are these days? I counted 40 of them on the powerlines behind my house this weekend. They are getting as thick as pigeons.I have seen Eurasian Collared Doves and Incas too. But not many of them.But what is up with all these white-winged???See More
