I read God of Small Things many years ago too. Remember liking it - a lot. I can even remember a few things about it :) Currently reading The Tooth Fairy by Graham Joyce, a very different book.

Welcome to the Fix Carmen!

Hello, neighbor! I read God of Small Things a long time ago--so long, in fact, that I've forgotten a lot of the details, but I remember liking it. Let me know what you think.

Greetings & Salutations! Even the internet can have a small town feel. Jesse (mi esposo) went on a midnight ride last Friday and said he met a guy named Andrew who had a friend named Carmen who was interviewing with some chick named Jade Bock....

SEEKING VOLUNTEER INTERVIEWERS FOR THE HUNGER IN AMERICA 2009 STUDY IN NEW MEXICO!

Volunteer interviewers collect field data for a local study on hunger. Interviews will be conducted at soup kitchens, food pantries, and shelters throughout the state of New Mexico. Locations and hours are flexible. Attendance at an interviewer training session is required for all volunteers. All materials, supplies, and transportation (if needed) will be provided. This work is incredibly rewarding. Ideal interviewers speak English and/or Spanish and/or Navajo, are able and willing to follow specific interviewing protocols, and possess a high level of sensitivity and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Experience conducting interviews is helpful, but not necessary. Please contact Carmen at carmentierra@hotmail.com or at 948-9635 for more information or to register for our next training! PLEASE PROVIDE CONTACT INFORMATION IN YOUR COMMUNICATION! Thank you!!!
